Because it is impermeable to liquid, epoxy doesn’t harbour mould and other allergens from growing, keeping the environment more hygienic. It’s for these reasons that an epoxy finish is commonly used in commercial kitchens.

• Economical and Long Lasting

There are not many flooring options that are more economical than epoxy on polished concrete. Installation is affordable and has a much longer life span than other flooring options.

 

• Anti-Slip Surface

Epoxy finishes are naturally ani-slip and do not hold onto moisture and can be quickly mopped to soak up any spilled liquid, reducing the risk of slipping and injury. There is an anti-slip additive that can be applied at the time of installation to increase these properties. This is a smart choice on areas that are consistently wet such as pool decks and outdoor entertainment areas.
